My Groove Thang Does Not Accept Excuses Lyrics

I like this band better now that they have let me know that they like it when the crowd is dancing at the show. I know it makes me the band play harder, when the crowd gets into it, but I'm not getting into it until you give me something to go on. And if it gets to you, if it makes you sad, then I got something for you to try, home boy it's called rocking out. Later this ass might groove, but right now this ass sits, cause this ass doesn't move until you rock it. I was really wanting to dance y'know. But I was not sure if I would be allowed. If only some band at this show would make an announcement to the crowd. I don't care about your new Zildjians and I don't care about your broke down cymbals. I don't care about your half stack and I don't care about your practice amp. I do not take excuses, the problem is you. The problem is your performance, why don't you just get up there and groove? My groove thing does not accept excuses.
