"I wrote this song for my girlfriend. She's not very good at math. I didn't want that to discourage her in life, so this song is about how cool it is to not be very good at math. I feel a responsibility to tell you that this same theme was written about in the online comic strip Achewood a few years ago and it was probably a subconscious influence on the song. "
