We used to eat our meals together. We'd have salad every day. We even used that fat free dressing, baby. But girl, you went away. Now I'm microwaving bacon while the oven heats up my frozen pizza that I'm about to go eat up. And baby, I got news for you. It's not because I missed you. If I was going to tell the truth, I just missed junk food. The fat free dressing's gone out the window, I'm putting ranch on my pizza pie. I can't believe how long we stayed together, I can't believe how much of my food wasn't fried. I'm not gonna have anymore heartache, I'm just gonna have another cheese steak. Go date a bunch of other guys, I'll just work on my chilli cheese fries. Don't tell me I was in your sex dream, tell me where you keep the ice cream. I think it would kill me if I took you back, and honestly I'd rather have another heart attack.

"This song is written from the perspective of a guy whose girlfriend got him to change his eating habits after he and his girlfriend have broken up. She somehow gets wind of him eating unhealthy foods and calls him to try and be friends because she feels bad about having caused him to hurt his body by eating such unhealthy foods. This song is how he responds. It's a statement of independence, without her dragging him down, he now has the strength to eat whatever food he wants. He carries with him a sense of victory for having gotten over his girlfriend but having her still care about him."
