I think this was a good song to pick for the video, because the lyrics actually go along with the video. The two main characters of the video are lying to themselves and everyone around them. This isn't the best American Me song, but it's certainly a tight ass tune.

This song is easily the best on that album. Sick ass breakdown and intro and the lyrics are badass. Like the music video, I think the lyricist is basically in denial of a problem (drugs?). He has a problem that people can see, but he just doesn't want to admit. (who am I to judge if the judged was me) (running away from myself no time to look back) and at the end he's confronting himself. (you can lie to them but you can't fucking lie to yourself) dope shit no doubt. being a liar is an awful trait.
