Remember the Day Lyrics
Bite down, hold your tongue girl.
Lights out, over old worlds.
Lips spoken the truth, left you feeling ashamed.
You're calling out.
Reborn, a well rehearsed line.
Once more, wasting our time,
but I'm ready to set your record straight.
When you're calling out,
"Wear your time, feeling lucky, if you're lucky at all.
Wear your time out."
Remember the day, remember the night.
Remember the weekend walk to the coldest fight in the rain.
We said our goodbyes.
Honey, my love washed out
as you made up your mind in the rain.
Soft heart, full of regret.
Beats slow, like a bad threat.
I burned the letter you wrote, reinviting me in.
You're calling out, "Your choice" (your choice), and I've spoken.
My word (my word), yours broken.
Now you're wanting it back, it backfired again,
but you're calling out,
"Wear your time, feeling lucky, if you're lucky at all.
Wear your time out."
Remember the day, remember the night.
Remember the weekend walk to the coldest fight in the rain.
We said our goodbyes.
Honey, my love washed out
as you made up your mind in the rain. (x2)
And I'm gone. I'm gone.
Another goodbye, another goodbye.
So self-assured, with unbelievable posture.
Attempt retired at the blink of an eye.
She said, "Our darkest hour was the worst departure." (x2)

I'm pretty sure that in the second line of the chorus it is "weekend" not "weakened".
but if you are going to label your band as christian then your songs should be about God....
Christian music doesn't need to be all about God. To me, labeling the band as Christian means the themes will be Christian, the values will be Christian, but the songs don't all have to be about God. Silly people. This is an underrated artist, I think. Some of their songs are brilliant.
this band sounds neat but every song is about a breaking up with his girlfriend and nothing about God. so much for the christian label
Cheesenina3... The fact that you took the energy to post this comment on all of their songs is somewhat sad. Anyway, I am tired of people putting a label on Christians. It is possible to live your life fully for God and write songs about other things. Judgmental and whiny people like you are the reason Christians have a bad name. On behalf of Christian all around the world, keep your mouth shut.
