this song makes me feel really safe for some reason. i can't really fathom what its about, but i like that. i don't think it's "Lou Reed" though. i could totally be wrong but i assume he's just saying "Laurie" with the emphasis on a weird place in the name, because the title of the song IS called Laurie.
