Kill Each Other/Live Forever

when i first heard this song i assumed it was about war/life. EI: we are always seeking "immortality" through various means, be it science curing diseases, religious belief (reincarnation), or even literal immortality somehow, however, life itself is getting in the way of immortality in the form of war.

--If we gonna kill each other, how we gonna live forever?-- simple if you think about it. how can we ever reach this goal of living forever when we keep fighting and killing each other? --If we gonna live forever, how we gonna kill each other?-- now turn it around and you get something different. think war specifically. how the hell do you win a war against immortals? (save the 300 jokes pls)

that part immediately made me think of war for profit. its no joke that wars done right can create BIIIIIIG bank for whoever is producing the tanks/weapons/whatever else. humans are greedy and most will kill or do whatever it takes to get what they can out of this life regardless of what its costing others.

My other theory is its straight up about various religions and how most of them fight in the name of their god. one religion cant believe that the world can still move on with a different religion also existing, so they kill them, all the while believing they will live on forever.

I think that the kill each other/live forever part refers to the fact that lots of people want eternal youth/life and whatnot but that's impossible if we keep killing each other (e.g. war).

But, once again, I'm not good at this stuff, I just provide the lyrics.

I think it's about the news and the government making people think that there is always a problem in the world, almost making killing each other more desirable than living forever.

they want to wake us up !! by making us understand that we are puppets of the society !! if we were listening to the news soon we'll be all immortal or all dead !! cauz' on one side they're trying to find a way to live as long as possible and stay young and good looking as long as possible but on the other hand we're making stupid war and killing each other for stupids reasons and killing our planet too by poluting and destroying the forests...it's time for us to make things change cauz it's not too late for us to realise that we're all a part of the same race " the human" and we should help each other !

This song is about someone's internal struggles. The struggle between the soul and the mind. Life sucks because you fuck up way too much. And every time you do, you feel nothing but regret. You hate yourself. How can you live forever with someone you hate? You can't kill yourself, you can't change because you're stuck with you forever. 'Til you die. Then it's over. And everything's tumbling down. And you blame yourself for all of it. How can the sun still shine on if everything gets this bad..

The song could be applied to societal problems, if you like it that way. But it could be a little more personal.

People are doing everything they want, but they don't realize that they aren't immortal.

d0-shawn is right... you have to consider the you and we's daron uses. He's of muslim decent and religion, which means when he use's "we" in this song hes referring to his religion his people. In other songs like serious and 3005 he uses you and refers to christians or "resurrection junkies"
