Insane Lyrics
So many ways to hide
I see the trouble deep inside
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Run, run baby run
You'll see the things to overcome
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Dream, dream your broken dream
You'll see the things I never see
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
I see the trouble deep inside
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
You'll see the things to overcome
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
You'll see the things I never see
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again
Bring back the pain again
Let's go insane again
Bring back the pain again

It can also be interpreted as an insane relationship, I mean one like Eminem and Kim
I think the song is personal in scope. No sociopolitical intent.

Government corruption. Media is a good example to "hide" but he still see's right through it. I think he is suggesting that we are going to lose our freedom.
Lets go insane again, bring back the pain again -
The freedom that our fathers fought for 200+ years ago wasn't something they had before they did what they did. He sarcastically saying "lets just ignore whats going on, and eventually we will 'bring back the pain' of suppression and economic slavery.
Run baby run , youll see things to overcome -
Play on the government. Keep running away from the real debates to simply get your way and there definately will be problems.
Dream, dream your broken dreams -
North American Union, Carbon Tax
You'll see the things i never see -
I think he is referring to his own psychedelic experiences to explain how crazy things really will get.
I guess this is about how political correctness are taking away our freedom to think and act. Hey, let's go back to the insanity. When we were all insane, we were free. You just can dream your broken dream if you're not into this serious time we're living. We need to be what today people call insanity. Or something like that...
Just turn off your television like I did years ago... Don't just turn it off - throw it away too..
And this is mainly about drugs...
I think you guys are looking too deep into these lyrics... To me these lyrics sound like it's about a person who has an addiction to a dangerous drug (heroin) and is forced by his own mind to take the drug and "run away" from his problems by going insane for a while. The lines: "Dream, dream your broken dream You'll see the things I never see"
hints at the pessimism of this "junkie".
I think the last dude kinda hit on it..for ME it tells about using drugs (mainly opiates like hydros or heroine) because it touches on WHY people use: escape..it also talks about the pain..which to me talks about the pain of withdrawals..you try to get clean but with opiates its tough, and for me when i decide to use again i also decide to bring on the pain of withdrawals again, seeing it as a cost of doing business but accepted..
