This is such a beautiful song, though I'm not entirely sure of its meaning....
From an interview with Liberation Frequency: "I wrote some words over a picture of him in the newspaper because it was all I had to write on and then I couldn't sing the song without seeing this big picture of Wayne Rooney staring up at me. And somehow the words seemed like they could have been sung by him..."
