A Disaster in the Midst of Chaos

I walk alone ever so slowly as I
remove myself from what I have been pretending to be
The world tends to rub its ugliness off on me
There's so much greed and make believe as far as I can see
I'm like them too, I find my remedy
In pretending to be what is so far fetched from reality
But there's this west coast girl who resides in my dreams
She told me one thing, I think I know what she means

All the Chaos, thriving above ground
If a magic wand could send me back to that place
I would go away so fast to our home in outer space
Where there's a star on which we would rest our heads
Focus on our love, as we lie in our celestial bed
But here on earth I am stuck in this war I find
I must battle the strongest of soldiers in my mind
Only then can I rest for a while with my queen
In our hole away from the whole damn world destined never to be seen
