i think its about the girl who's boyfriend has just broken up with her
and shes trying to be calm by saying she could use a cup of coffee
but she is suicidal saying she needs the overdose
and i get from "Leave it all behind me You'll see it When you finally find me Comatose or pretty close" that she wants to take the overdose so the guy that broke up with her regrets it and feels bad
i think this song is about how she deels with her feelings after a break up or any other situation. like wanting to just sleep to get away from everything. i feel like that with the situation im in. just wanna take and overdose and wake up to find it all better. but then she says she needs a cup of coffee.. coffee doesnt let you sleep. i think she found that the overdose didnt work and it hurts to wake up the most because you find the pain didnt go away. waking up is like starting it all over. so she wants coffee to stay awake and sleep deprivation makes you feel like your in comotose cuz youre just to tired to feel. so thats her way of sleeping. i see it this way because thats what i found out for myself.
it could be she's talking about an overdose in something elce .... stronger. cus she says it like a.... "cup of coffee and .... a peace of cake". and then there's the "over my dead body" bit and the Comatose bit an overdose in coffee could kill you bt u'd need about 100 cups and it would kill ur heart first not put u into a coma. just an idea.
