To give a more secular meaning to the song, it's basically about a breaking up with a girl who's been cheating ("Your hiding in the closet while your one night stands waiting with his eyes closed counting to ten"). The title, "Worth As Much As A Counterfeit Dollar," means that the girl looks like she's worth something but she's actually worth nothing.
The line "Throw the dirt and leave the path feet covered up so we don't know your there" just means to throw away any evidence of the cheating and cover any tracks/clues so she won't be caught. In "Hold your breath until your heart stops beating so fast," means to not expect you won't get caught ("hold your breath") until you're sure that he's none the wiser--because the fast beating heart is another clue (you know, getting so pumped up because of doing something wrong; adrenalin rush so to speak). "Your giving orders from the back seat, While the passengers are all unaware" means she's controlling everybody around her and they don't know anything about the cheating.

The interesting thing is that in the part "And they'll all be fighting for their own rights, / And they'll all be delighted just to know we're alive," they sing it with the "alive" part sounding very close to "a lie." This interesting because if that's the case, all the other men the girl is sleeping with are actually after her and they're so pleased that they're breaking up.

By the way, the "alive" / "a lie" isn't all too far fetched. Most CL songs are loaded with word plays.

"Throw the dirt and leave the path feet covered up so we don't know you're there" reminds me of psalms 119:105. thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. i think that this saying who someone is hiding christ and his word from the world and is hiding that he is a christian.
"hold your breath until your heart stops beating" a lot of times, christian artists use breathe or breath as a symbol of a realtionship with christ or praying and reading the bible. I think that they are explaining how someone's relationship with christ is fading and their spirital heart is stopping.
