Girl Poison Lyrics
Publicly degrading a princess
ashamed naked
She's too young to be shaving
at her prime, age 10
full of Ritalin and codeine
very sore unsatisfied
silicon inject what’s lacking
Just to satisfy some sick fuck
Throw them meat and the dogs want more
Pedi-sinister girl-next door
[sleeping beauty
ate the apple
pumped full of image
sweet as saccharine
hansom princey
artificial
keeping her hammered
with girl poison]
Slashing away at a duchess
pop trash disgust
Sexy little decoration
pin up girl, age 12
pocket money spent on hot pants
innocence stolen
one more girl on an insect diet
Just to satisfy some sick fuck
Throw them meat and the dogs want more
Pedi-sinister girl-next door
[sleeping beauty
ate the apple
pumped full of image
sweet as saccharine
hansom princey
artificial
keeping her hammered
with girl poison]
Self doubt is an industry
self harm is a best seller
so hot, so worth it
evil, pure evil
[sleeping beauty
ate the apple
pumped full of image
sweet as saccharine
hansom princey
artificial
keeping her hammered
with girl poison]

This is such a meaningful song. It's obviously about how society likes their girls the younger the better, skinny, half naked, and posed like porno stars. This can be viewed in several clothing ads where the kids are barely dressed and told to pose like full-grown models. Models are supposed to be sexy, therefore little kids posing=sexy in the eyes of society.
Also, 'One more girl on an insect diet' probably means another girl starving herself so that she can be skinny and therefore be 'loved.'
'Just to satisfy some sick fuck' probably is talking about how men these days are encouraged by the media to be attracted to these young girls and therefore, people see nothing wrong with this behavior.
'Pedi-sinister girl-next door' seems to be speaking of a young girl who seduces older men because she's taught that that's just what girls DO; they have sex.
Choruses are usually easy to make sense out of...so to me sleeping beauty eating the apple represents innocent girls submitting to temptation...and what society gets impressed by.
Snow white ate an apple, but there was no fairy tale mix up. Maybe referring to the movies wasn't even their intention.
Sleeping beauty is exactly what shes called, isolated from adulterated expectations...until now.
Snow white...? without knowledge of either movie, i doubt that using Snow white instead of Sleeping beauty would make more sense if any..
This song is so catchy! xD As a MMO roleplayer, I've decided to create a machinima (with World of Warcraft) about the Mary Sues and cyb0rers of the RP community with this song, it seems to fit it. xP
The innocence of children is being taken because of societal pressures. Children are pressured to act older than they "should" and they emulate adult behavior.
The song is simultaneously equating this to child abuse; read the lyrics and imagine some girl being molested by her father, it fits. Little girls are being molested by industry and they're taught that is normal.
THis song reminds me of my thirteen year old friend who does things she shouldnt do. She thinks she has to be vain and concieted and all the guys like her for what reason i dont know, And Im just there. I dont really do anything, im just quiet.
You're all on the ball with this ones meaning, I think. I heard this song when I was -what? thirteen? Fourteen?- anyway, I never thought we'd get this bad. I never thought this song reflected so much on the current status of life. I'm a child of the nineties, and I watched my eldest sister, an eighties child, go through this. But of course, she was fourteen, not ten like these girls I see on my bus home. It's very sad.
