My favorite song from Camp Rock.
I think it describes that situation in the movie when he hears the girl singing but he doesn't know who it is & she sort of inspires him, so he writes a song about her. He wants to try & find out who this girl is.

This is so adorable. I wasn't too fond of Camp Rock, I thought it was kind of corny and typical Disney but this song stood out to me. It's about the seemingly endless search for true love, "the voice I hear inside my head", "the missing piece I need."
"Every time I think I'm closer to the heart Of what it means to know just who I am" I think that means every time he starts a new relationship, he thinks he's found the right person but he just wants this search to be over and to find his other half.
I think it was a good song for Joe Jonas to sing because he always has girls throwing themselves at him and he has no idea which is the right one. Sometimes there are simply too many options...
