"Give it away," she told me. "i don't want that.
It's just a constant reminder that girls go
where you go girls go
where you go they'll be there also."

"Give it away," I told her, "'Cause i don't want that
it's only you on my mind and where you go
i go where you go i go where you go i'll be there."

The best reunion of the summer
was like imagining a brand new color,
and not a mixture of two, like blue and green;
i mean a color that no one's ever seen.
I seen a part of the spectrum wiped from my memory
when i saw your face
when i heard your voice

Baby, i was holding your hand
I crumble like a tower of sand Ahh
You're telling me to break up the band,
I crumble like a tower of sand

Give me a day to prove that I won't give way
to all the constant reminders that you are
way way way way too good for me

The resolution was a bummer,
and it was bumpy by the end of summer.
Virginia trees were on fire when autumn came,
but you and I were in states that stay the same.
Remember lying in feilds of grass?
We should have stayed there.
We should have stayed right there.
We should have stayed right there.

Baby, i was holding your hand
I crumble like a tower of sand Ahh
You're telling me to break up the band,
I crumble like a tower of sand

Show your face.
Conjour up a smile.
If I need you now, I'll need you always.
Hurry up, you're walking like you're crazy.
So come on,
conjour up a smile.
If i see you now, i'll see you always.
Hurry up, you're talking like you're crazy.
Did you know you're talking like you're crazy?

Give it away, my darling, and try this trick:
it's just a bitter reminder that I'll go where you go I'll go where you go I'll be there also

The best reunion of the summer
was like imagining a brand new color,
and not a mixture of two, like aqua green;
i mean a color that no one's ever seen .
I seen a part of the spectrum wiped from my memory
when i seen your face
when i seen your face

Baby, i was holding your hand
I crumble like a tower of sand Ahh
You're telling me to break up the band,
I crumble like a tower of sand

OK, maybe I'll get to meaning some time. But for now let me tell you I all but tear up every time I hear these simple words: Remember lying in feilds of grass? We should have stayed there. We should have stayed right there. We should have stayed right there.

That idea that certain moments surpass all others, they are often the simplest, and the cares and pain that build up all our lives make us suddenly remember, realize, yearn for those simpleperfect moments: If only we could have stopped the world at that moment, that moment there, and just live in that moment forever.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
