This is a really heartfelt song...
I really like the secondary vocals too. It adds a lot to the song.
Sounds like its then end of a long meaningful relationship that the writer was in. And he just wants to get away from everything, kind of like getting a fresh start somewhere else trying to forget everything that he would be leaving back home.
I love this song, it really is beatiful. I can relate to it so much. It fills me up with so much hope.

What I think this song is about is two people that get into a relationship, but everybody thinks that it is going to fail. But basically, he's like, 'i don't care what they say, i've already lost control of what i'm feeling... I'm so happy that I've made it this far that I'm not going to be upset or scared if it ends' that's what i think anyway i love this song <3
