Ghost Prototype II: Deus Ex Machina Lyrics

And then we found it all caged inside a dream
All-seeing eye sees afloat
Soon it will see no more

For we will not conform
We're ghosts in the machine

A holographic world-view, existance in display
Where everything must work as one and never break in two
This concept lives forever outside all state control
And ever shedding skin

All things new are fought against
Even though their time has come
Stretch and reach to conscious mind
Seek defeat in those who fear

For we will not conform
We're ghosts in the machine

Each separated droplet seek to rejoin the sea
The structure of the hologram can never break in two
Ways to embrace and enter the oneness of it all
Are ever shedding skin

While it's waiting to rise within
Know you'll never confrom
While it's rising, for one, for all
Rise on your own

Rising just to remind you
The inner sector is where you built this nightmare
Rivers will always flow forth into the ocean
A manifest of silent rhyme

Silent rhyme
Wordless rhyme

And then we found it all caged inside a dream
All-seeing eye sees afloat
Soon it will see no more

All things new are fought against
Even though their time has come

For we will not conform
We're ghosts in the machine

Change how you look at all things and what you see will change
Observer and what is observed can never break in two
The quantum revolution never cease to evolve
Forever shedding skin

While it's waiting to rise within
Know you'll never confrom
While it's rising, for one, for all
Rise on your own

Ah, this song has some of the best references to quantum mechanics and the reality of the universe as we so far are able to comprehend it.

"Change how you look at all things and what you see will change, Observer and what is observed can never break in two, The quantum revolution never cease to evolve, Forever shedding skin"

The new biology term, Epigenetics covers these points exactly. I would recommend The Biology of Belief by Bruce Lipton on this if you really are interested in unlocking some mysteries. Traditionall biology will never unlock secrets of life unntil they start including Quantum Mechanics in their works; as Epigenetic research do.

"A holographic world-view, existance in display Where everything must work as one and never break in two This concept lives forever outside all state control And ever shedding skin"

The theory that everything is interconnected to eachother; that we are not single units, the entire universe and all its content is a single being far too complicated for humans yet to understand.

"All things new are fought against Even though their time has come Stretch and reach to conscious mind Seek defeat in those who fear"

This is more of the noble and brave part of the song. It does not focus on science as many of the others parts do; but rather our reaction as a species against and/or for it. These concepts can be found as very alien too several people, so alien that our indoctrinated sense of perception often deny the science produced.

Rather to conform ourself around new found facts, we try to bend, or ignore facts such as our previous and lesser thoughts about the mechanisms of life works. Be strong, you know better - do something about it.

This was a great explanation. You definitely know your stuff but I wonder if have you ever read The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot? The whole album is based off that book. It talks about how holograms are a huge part of the universe and our brains yet no one really accepts it.

"A holographic world-view, existance in display Where everything must work as one and never break in two This concept lives forever outside all state control And ever shedding skin"

Holograms can never break in two, they always project the same image even when they are...

Man this song is BEAUTIFUL. I love Quantum mechanics to begin with but the way it is sung, and the guitarwork in this song blows me away. Such an amazing solo. This one will stick with me for a long time.
