Quantumleaper Lyrics
I'm nothing and all things
I drift between dimensions
I'm lifeless, immortal
Collapsed duality
My language is wordless
A silent scream to your ears
Enigma in plain sight
Time/space anomaly
Quantumleaper
Found unfound
Voice of reason
Lost its tongue
If you rise I'll fall, unknown where once I was known
Choose where I can't go and I am there
If you rise I'll fall, unknown where once I was known
Even when I'm gone, you know I'm here
I'm right here and nowhere
Upon me rests creation
I am wave and lepton
The eerie paradox
Wrong focus, wrong methods
This way you'll never get me
Exclude flesh, include mind
And drift along with me
Quantumleaper
Found unfound
Voice of reason
Lost its tongue
If you rise I'll fall, unknown where once I was known
Choose where I can't go and I am there
If you rise I'll fall, unknown where once I was known
Even when I'm gone, you know I'm here
You observe me in a grain of sand
Infinity beheld
Universe in the palm of your hand
Infinity unveiled
View this progress as an omen
When mind allows, feel it pull you further down
Quantumleaper
Found unfound
Voice of reason
Lost its tongue
If you rise I'll fall, unknown where once I was known

AAAGH!!!! Brilliant song off the new album!!! Just makes me want to headbang!
The lyrics, in basic form, are about a being, transcending dimensions at will, with no limits and no way of being stopped. Sounds like it could be a ghost or something like.
There is probably more, but thats the basics of it I think.
Well, kind of. I think you just have to see this from a physical view. It's about the wave-particle dualism. These are not the only lyrics from Holographic Universe that are - at least partly - about physical phenomenoms, and they always have a philosophic component, too. The wave-particle dualism is one of the most important basics of the quantum theory; it says that every particle, for example an electron, is also a wave at the same time. The frequence is, as far as I remember, dependent from the mass of the particle, and so on. This is something you can for example see when making experiments with light; it can be diffracted like a wave, but it can also behave like a normal particle. I hope I got that right in general.... And the lyrics refer to all this. Humans can't really imagine and understand this dualism, it is an "eerie paradox". This thing, whatever it is ("enigma") is "wave and lepton" it can go through other things (the electron tunneling effect; "chosse where I can't go and I'm there") and so on. And then the next thing, which is also a topic in one or two other songs from the new album: If you observe things, they change. It is like the experiment with the cat Schrödinger once described - things can be described with a function if they are not obeserved, and as soon as they are observed, they have a certain state: "If you rise I'll fall" - if you observe, I become a certain thing (wave or lepton).
Exactly, thoughts of an angry electron lol
But all my respect to the band, I don't think too many other bands could make a mind-blowing song about physics :)
