A Seafarer's Knot Lyrics

Lucky are the leaves of the clover
She's digging for chemistry with a butcher's tools
Shifty are the eyes of the gambler
He's making his tricks his trade, and a job well done

Through the motions, waving wishes
To your confidence and eloquence

He's turning a green from these envious, glorious things
Applied ambitious faith that can keep us all safe
And invoking a blue that's meant for us too
What small amazing things we will turn to rain

Lucky is a deer in the headlights
Those two are as thick as thieves, not a penny more
Shaking are the hands of the gun shy
He'd rather give up the ghost than stick by

Through the motions, waving wishes
To your confidence and eloquence

He's turning a green from these envious, glorious things
Applied ambitious faith that can keep us all safe
And invoking a blue that's meant for us too
What small amazing things we will turn to rain

Gather 'round, hold your glasses up high
Drink the love while we wait for high tide
Keep it short, keep it brief, you have my word
Gather 'round while we wait for high tide

Turning a green from these envious, glorious things
Applied ambitious faith that can keep us all safe
Your spots, your seeds, lack fur, we're all a mess
As though we all have another

um..this is already posted, as is Vice/Versa, the other song you posted. You probably didnt see them because they're labeled (Ciperion) A Seafarers Knot and (Pre-Versa) Vice/Versa The lyrics for Vice/Versa already poseted are wrong though, so you did fix that :D

I don't know what "Ciperion" means, so I'd rather make reference to this lyric.

I often hear people tell another to rely on their gut instinct if they are largely uncertain of the definitive--this is the best I can do for now, I guess.

I am not certain why, but upon hearing this song and reading the lyrics through once, I get the vague impression that the song relates with a phenomenon where everybody "rides" on one's accomplishments. And these "riders" do not take time to appreciate the small achievements as much as they do for the larger, more ambitious accomplishments to come.

If I were to put a percentage to the portion of lyrics that I think relate to my inference, I'd say a measly 12%; but as far as other possibilities, I'm at a loss so this is the best I can do. Take what you can get.

My Interpretation

Ciperion is the keyboard intro to this song
