It's about not having a 'real' job i read in a interview Marty said its about how good it is for him and the band not having to do a 9 to 5 and getting paid for doing something they love that where they get the 'It doesnt get any better than this' from but think about it it wouldnt get any better than doing something you absolutely love :)

They are seeing clearly for the very first time because they realize the childish and immature values that some part of the hardcore community hold and that they themselves believed in.
