Lay Down and Die, Goodbye Lyrics

Tom Smothers]
You are the only censor. If you don't like what I say, you have a
choice. You can turn me off..

[Tom Smothers]
You are the only censor
If you don't like what I say, you have a choice. You can turn me off..

Well I've written home to mother
The ink ran from my tear
I said "Momma, momma please
Tell me why you brought me"

Cover art for Lay Down and Die, Goodbye lyrics by Alice Cooper

isn't it "tell me why you broke me?" i love these first two albums, totally anarchic and free

"Tell me why you brought me here" is pretty clear on one of the versions. It's a cool instrumental, but I'm not too keen on Glen's solo.
