Lucky You Lyrics

There's a little girl in this little town
With a little too much heart to go around
Live forever, never say never
You can do better, that's what she says

Her mama named her Lucky on a starlit night
A rabbit foot in her pocket, she dances in spite of
The fact that she's different and yet she's the same
And she says do do do do do do do do do do do do do do
do do do do do do do do
Lucky you, lucky you
Do do do do do do do do

She sings her little song
She walks a long a little
Pathway headed for the skies
Left her travels, lives they unravel
Mind over matter, that's what she says

Her mama named her Lucky on a starlit night
A rabbit foot in her pocket, she dances in spite of
And the fact that she's different and yet she's the same
And she says do do do do do do do do do do do do
do do do do do do do do do do do
Lucky you, lucky you, lucky you
do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do

Maybe she'll sing you do do do do
Maybe she'll bring you up to the skies
Honey, she'll love you
Funny how some view
Angels above you ain't so far away.

Her mama named her Lucky on a starlit night
A rabbit foot in her pocket, she dances in spite of
The fact that she's different and yet she's the same
And she says do do do do do do do do do do do do
do do do do do do do do do do
Lucky you, lucky you

This was the first song Taylor ever wrote. Her lyrics have really progressed over the years.

This song is the source of my username! Ha. I think this song is really intelligent. If you dig deep, I think it's really inspirational, especially considering Taylor wrote this when she was twelve. Basically, she's saying how everyone thinks she is so strange, but she embraces her differences. She just tries to better herself, and she feels like she is too big for her little town. She knows she's special and that people just can't see that right now, but she's going to help them later on. But right now, she's just going to do what she loves to do.

It's definitely extraordinarily cute.

I went from listening to Dear John to listening to this, HAHA, oh my. So very cute. Adorable really.

I'm no one, just a Swiftie fan, but I write songs like a journal. It's like I found some songs I wrote when I was 9-11. And It's like, wholey CRAP. But when we're younger, things are different. :) And now Im 19. So cute. Such a different way of thinking.

This song is crappy...but it's better than Dear John.
