As for interpreting the song, the song makes refernce to the same girl. I take it after many listens that it's a song dedicated to groupies. More so a "band-aid". From Rockstar. More and more these days, artists are coming out with songs that best reflect their lives and the lives of those around them, more specifically this generation. Songs gain popularity in this day and age, just as they did however many years ago. People relate to them. Fans will always search out what rings true in their own hearts and mind, and this song does that for me.
