Cathedral Of Tears Lyrics
In this cathedral of tears
We shall tear your heart
Into pieces of emotion
And only dreams can redeem your life
Where only dreams have received your life
Overwhelm me
With nothing
But nothing
And nothing
Overwhelm me
With nothing
But nothing
And nothing
Never before this thrill, this motif
Never before this vision, this salvation
And never again this past and this future
But I cannot right what I have done wrong
And we'll never return to where we have gone but I cannot right what I have done wrong
And we'll never return to where we have gone but I cannot right what I have done wrong
And we'll never return to where we have gone but I cannot right what I have done wrong
Nothing and nothing but nothing and nothing
We shall tear your heart
Into pieces of emotion
And only dreams can redeem your life
Where only dreams have received your life
With nothing
But nothing
And nothing
Overwhelm me
With nothing
But nothing
And nothing
Never before this vision, this salvation
And never again this past and this future
But I cannot right what I have done wrong
And we'll never return to where we have gone but I cannot right what I have done wrong
And we'll never return to where we have gone but I cannot right what I have done wrong

Well, methinks this could be a beautiful song about acceptance of the way life is with a (strong) touch of melancholy.
"Where only dreams have received your life" and "Overwhelm me With nothing" may mean that the person spoken of has spent most of their lives dreaming and not taking action.
So it might also mean that it's a song about a person who has wasted their life.
Would be nice if someone could say what the "Cathedral of Tears" is because I don't think anything's ever random words with Mr.Pearce.
