Though the history of the world is long, time flies and eventually nature's end game approaches. Standing on a balcony, perhaps at night, still and attuned to nature the truth of this momentum can now be felt and faced - an apocalypse from which none can escape to paraphrase Phillip Larkin. The music on this song matches the meaning and feeling of the lyrics more than any song i have ever heard before. I think.
