This song is basicly about determination and giving everything your 100%
To me this song seems more like its about depression and doing all that you can to rise above it. Forgetting what's plagued your thoughts in the past and being able to get up and walk away from all the hurt and pain.
Facing depression, trying to overcome it. Forgetting what has shrouded your thoughts and action of the past and move on to a better state. Giving everything, we have to overcome repercussions and pitchs of life. Determination and effort being put fourth in everything you love and care for.
