I think its about a girl who has always been a tomboy and hung around her guy friends, and she has possibly had a crush on one of them for quite sometime but he has never noticed her because she was 'one of the boys' and thought of her as like a little sister but then later on over the summer she grew up and "blossomed", so all the guys started likeing her but shes over that guy cause she has other options now
its pretty relatable to most girls, as when you get older, guys who never noticed you before suddenly begin to pay attention

But also I love this song. It's about a tom boy who always had a thing for a boy who just did not see her in that way. But when she started making herself less tom boyish he falls, but then she just has too many guys after her, and he is not her first choice anymore.
