Salus Suas Extanderealas Concedit Lyrics
Condemned to a bed
Where you held your head
High enough to smile
I wish I had your strength
Asking God,
"Please don't take her
away from me."
"God where were you
when I needed you the most?
She lived her life with grace
And I'll live my life with love for You."
I knew him well
He would have gave his life for me
He laid in a hallway
I found salvation perfectly
Your death was my grace
You led me back to faith
I hope he knows that he took that weight away
I hope he knows that he took my pain away
Hear my cry, Oh God
I call as my heart grows faint
Hear my cry, Oh God
I call as my heart grows faint
Hear my cry, Oh God
I call as my heart grows faint
Hear my cry, Oh God
I call as my heart grows faint
Where you held your head
High enough to smile
Asking God,
"Please don't take her
away from me."

I hope he knows that he took my pain away

I call as my heart grows faint
Hear my cry, Oh God
I call as my heart grows faint

seems to be about two things: the death of a close friend or family member and reflecting on Christ's mission on earth as He died so that we may live.
ps. anyone know what language the title is in?
Kyleee I agree with what you said & I also believe the title is in Latin since lots of things relating to Jesus were in Latin. I tried looking up what the words meant and it goes something like this: 'Salus' means safety, health, salvation 'Suas' means persuasion 'Extanderealas' means from within 'Concedit' means allow or grant
Very interesting.
i think this is about the death of matt's sister.
nuclearnatalie.. if what those words mean is true then just thinking by putting them together maybe its something along the lines of with Jesus's safety health and salvation he pursuaded us from within to be allowed new life in Him..? maybe, just throwing a guess out there but i love this song im gonna suggest my churches band to play it sometime, they play covers all the time and this would be a great one
That's a good way to put it, I think that may be what the title means. All I know is that a few minutes ago I was very sad thinking about my ex and how we're never getting back together for numerous reasons (actually, I think he's lost his way in Christ, what a shame for him), but I decided to listen to AKFJ because they always cheer me up. This song makes me realize that God takes certain things from us for a reason. He has a plan for us all though it may not seem very clear at first. I...

My ex was actually in our church's band, but not anymore. I wish they'd play this cover too.

I think this was titled wrong..but the title means something along the lines of "Health allows its wings to spread."
