You'd Make Time Lyrics
There's an awful beating in my chest
and yet strangely I feel blessed, because it came from seeing you today
I feel it on my ribs and in my lungs
It's as loud as an indian drum
and if I danced I bet I just might bring the rain
You say you've got your doubts
and our time has just run out
You swear that you could do without me now
You left to live your life counting mile marker signs
But if your feelings were like mine you'd make time
There's a wretched shaking in my knees
and yet strangely I feel pleased, because I know it came from seeing you today
I feel it in my muscles and my bones and yet somehow I found strength waiting for tones that I need to stay sane
You say you've got your doubts
and our time has just run out
You swear that you could do without me now
You left to live your life counting dashes and state lines
But if your feelings were like mine you'd make time
You'd make time for all the useless things
You know you mean the world to me
You'd make time if your head was where your heart is
I know that I hold it because you told me you'd never lie to me
and yet strangely I feel blessed, because it came from seeing you today
It's as loud as an indian drum
and if I danced I bet I just might bring the rain
and our time has just run out
You swear that you could do without me now
You left to live your life counting mile marker signs
But if your feelings were like mine you'd make time
and yet strangely I feel pleased, because I know it came from seeing you today
and our time has just run out
You swear that you could do without me now
You left to live your life counting dashes and state lines
But if your feelings were like mine you'd make time
You know you mean the world to me
You'd make time if your head was where your heart is
I know that I hold it because you told me you'd never lie to me

Wow. What a sad, sad song.
Do not doubt this guy, this kid writes a knockout melody. LISTEN TO HIM.
I agree. He's so good. I hope he gets famous enough so that people know him, but small enough that he still writes from his heart. Such a good song, nonetheless.
