How has no one commented this yet? This song is absolutely amazing. I believe this song is about a boy confused over a girl, and yet another girl. I think he is scared to know that she might be the real thing, and he's scared of true love. He's probably been in many bad relationships in the past, and now that something good comes along, he's running scared from something that may be great. He know's that this girl is the one person he can't be without, but there are many different reasons that are holding him back.

i agree with you sunset19. it seems like he's saying that he's afraid that this relationship is too good to be true so he's running away from it to protect himself from getting hurt. and its an awesome song

I think it's about a boy whose to consumed with not wanting committment to actually committ to this girl. He knows how amazing she is but he just can't settle down. He's too into himself and how much fun he's going to have before he's tied down. And then he finally realizes that she is more than he deserves and wakes up. Unlike some guys.

Wow, I just discovered this awesome song.. But I think it's about a boy who had some relationships but they all end up in a break-up and now he finally founds the ''one girl'' but now he is afraid to get hurt again, and he doesn't know what to do.
