This song is pretty damn eery... It adds to the creepiness at the end of the album. I wouldn't say I like this song, but I respect that it was made, unlike Viginti Tres from 10,000 Days. That was just fucking stupid.
The way Lights in the Sky leads into this song is kind of disturbing, and I think this song is supposed to be the point where the "demon seed" is born, as Corona Radiata either references someone's brain or an ovum for another example... I'm pretty sure it's referencing the latter and not the former based on the circular pattern on the "floor" in the song.
I'm not sure if this album was meant to be a continuation from the story that was on Year Zero, but it seems like it to me. This track (especially the way it follows Lights in the Sky) makes me imagine that the presence (aliens, whatever) have finally acted. However, their intentions to warn us to be a better race were not good intentions at all, and the human race is about to become a slave race. This track sounds like their actions - warming up and making their move. This track is very spacey and almost sounds like a space ship to me.
Although I do not think this is the birth, I think it is conception.
I just wanted to present another possible meaning to the title of the song.

This is an amazing instrumental. The first time I listened to this in a dark room I got this really creepy feeling that I couldnt shake until the next song had started. It just gots a real strange vibe to it.
Anyways, yes it does sound like a space ship descending to earth. It starts out peaceful and everything until halfway through the music has a darker edge starting to kick in. From a sequel to year zero perspective, this to me is the point where the lights in the sky which I think is the presence descend to earth. Mankind sees them as the only hope of salvation so welcomes them but then the music takes that darker edge and I believe the presence is now fucking over the survivors of the human race and finishing what they started. Maybe taking them in as slaves and forcing children upon them????
To Kilaelya: It's probably not a continuation of Year Zero. Also, I don't think you quite understood the YZ story, or at least the Presence-related bit.
