A Man and His Dream Lyrics

Sweetheart on the lawn,
do you dream?
Welcome to the morning,
whatcha think?
It's the way it always rains on your parade,
things always come up roses for the greats.

I love you, take my hand,
let me be your losin' man,
in dreams.

I was thinking maybe the last few lines have something to do with the album title too? Maybe?

I thought so too, chloroform but the dream is also mentioned in Someone's Trippin' and how he had learned to fly. To most of the songs have dreamy themes. Squirrels has to be about drugs or dreams.. probably both.

Apocalypse seems like a dream aswell. It also reminds me of a dream Raskolnikov has near the end of crime & punishment.

but the other ones just mention or elude to dreams - which yeah, is a theme in the album obviously. But this is the last track. and the last set of lines is, "I love you, take my hand, let me be your losin' man, in dreams." Like, you may already be dreaming, I may already be your losin' man.
