Counting Down Lyrics

You dream of flying cars, and cities in the stars
From where you are, you can see everything
And looking down from space, from where you see our fate
So beautiful but we don't see anything
And you know the world is round,
and how to break the speed of sound
But you can find nobody listening

Mysterious, but sometimes it just takes time
And its lonely when you leave the world behind
You're a diver and you're sailing out of bounds
On a wire, set a course of your own, I'm counting down

At the end of every day, I'm left with my mistakes
And it makes me wonder what have we all begun?
How about we call it love and we can never get enough?
How about God meaning everyone?
'Cause now we know the world is round,
and we've beat the speed of sound
and you can hear the people listening

Mysterious, but sometimes it just takes time
And its lonely when you leave the world behind
You're a diver and you're sailing out of bounds
On a wire, set a course of your own, I'm counting down

Wondering where I fit
The night above, infinite
Who we are, a single star

Mysterious, but sometimes it just takes time
And its lonely when you leave the world behind
You're a diver and you're sailing out of bounds
On a wire, set a course of your own, I'm counting down

Beautiful. I think it's about how we've progressed so far technologically as the human race, but the way technology has gone kind of leaves life empty... "It's lonely when you leave the world behind, you can find nobody listening," etc.
