The lips that slip
Are the lips that press
And the lips that leak
Seem to know you best
I put bodies into motion
Get this skin out in the open
Liars turn me on
Bedspread bandit since '89
You wear your heart on your sleeve
I threw mine to the sky
Bounce, bounce, baby
Bounce back to me
(You don't need this)
Bounce, bounce, baby
Bounce back to me
(You don't need this)
This is it, call it quits
With honesty
(You don't need this)
Every word is a curse
Let loose on me
Your mouth, it moves
But fails to speak
And when you use your lips
They better be on me
The lies that tied
Your tongue in knots
Are the words that grew
To hit my spots
So filthy
Dialed desire
Swallowed pride but spit out fire
Liars turn me on
Bedspread bandit since '89
You wear your heart on your sleeve
I threw mine to the sky
Bounce, bounce, baby
Bounce back to me
(You don't need this)
Bounce, bounce, baby
Bounce back to me

^Because Pete Wentz > Shakespeare.
Kidding, but among 12 year old girls he IS more well known.

one of their best songs :) woo. a bit confusing what is it about.
Looooove this song.
i love this song. i think it is talking about like exes that are still a little interested in each other. but the girl has kind of moved on and the boy wants her back. just a theory.
this song is AMAZING live.
Two things,
one - "You wear your heart on your sleeve And threw mine to the sky" I thought he says "I throw mine to the sky"
and two, - either way, anyone else this is a reference to fall out boy? (my heart is on my sleeve...wear it like a bruise or black eye)
maybe not.
definitely possible but since they are fairly new (at least for all i know) they had to figure out what sort of band they want to be and what type of lyrics to write and if they all (or maybe just the lead vocalist) likes fallout boy then yeah he would rewrite their songs in order to become more like them and he would take their lyrics and reword them almost 100%. i speak as another artist***

"Wear your heart on your sleeve," is a phrase that originates from Shakespeare's Othello.
Well before Pete Wentz's time. Why is he given credit for everything?
