I think it might be about a relationship between 2 people. This guy doesn't want the commitment, just the girl to come back to when he wants her. He comes and goes as he pleases, and he lies , to her and just tells her what she wants to hear. She's aware of his lies but she can't let go, she'd rather have the shitty false relationship than nothing. He 'waves goodbye' but he always comes back and 'it's bound to florish again'.
its about an on and off relationship between two people. one person is purposely trying to end it, but feels guilty so they pretend like it saddens them. the person likes the relationship they once had, but its not the same anymore so he/she wants out.
i love this song but the new singer sucks and ruined it they ruined themselves by selling out and having that stupid girl singer
that "stupid girl singer" has a great voice. and this is a great band, no one ruined anything.
I don't see why everyone bashes sierra. she's super nice and has an amazing voice
