Distance versus time, cutting verses down to size.
Focus versus tears versus "How did I get here's" versus curses in your eyes.
Force of nature versus range, nature versus "That is strange."
"There's a fire starting here" versus "There's nothing to fear" versus lonely versus safe.
Like a kitten versus rain.
A cathedral versus love versus shame.
Free versus out to sea, versus, versus, versus me versus me.
Distance versus time, cutting verses down to size.
Focus versus tears versus "How did I get here's" versus curses in your eyes.
Force of nature versus range, nature versus "That is strange."

I could so imagine this song at the end of a kung-fu movie, with the whistling and the chorus and all that... it reminds me of Kill Bill
clever and enjoyable scheme + guy singer ftw?!
"Free versus hard to see" sounds like "sea versus out to see" to me...?
who is that singer? is it daniel or reuben or what?

^ yeah, so i found out it was daniel who sings on this song. :)
"A cathedral versus love versus shame."
sounds like:
A Catherdral versus lovers' shame - which would be an interesting play on the sound of versus as opposed to lo-ver(ses).
But I think the line posted is the correct lyric.
I think "free versus out to sea" sounds more like "Free VERSES hard to see"
This song made complete sense to me one day while taking a long road trip.
"Versus, versus, versus me" This to me means everything they mention in the song is what people are against, the obstacles we must over come throughout life.
I thought it was hard to see at first when I typed it, but someone said it was the other way.
ALSO, when Daniel sings the second verse, it sounds to me like he says "...cutting braces down to size."
even though it's a bit weird... it's:
"Nature versus out of strange"
i'm 100% sure of it. the lyrics are in a version of Velocifero. Not quite sure which one, but i'm sure they're 100% official.
