Truth of Transition Lyrics
you paint me a picture every night
with a paint brush i've never seen
and that's okay with me.
it's all a mystery, fascinating beauty.
vibrant colours we will never live up to.
violent shades of a heart that won't calm down.
it's the parallel of the past times
it's experiments
it's the science
it's the fire flies above the pontoons
it's the picture that i can't hold on to
for the best of me i can't hold on to:
books of yester year i can't compare to
it's the planets that won't alight right
it's the planets.
me and i, we're always fighting
and i know i'm only lying to myself
just to get by
it's all the same shit
re-sell these paintings,
make money shipped of every blanket
long rhymes relate now
so much is happening, even lighting is drawn
so much must go on now
with a paint brush i've never seen
and that's okay with me.
it's all a mystery, fascinating beauty.

It's definitly about love. My favorite part is the Vibrant colors part, it makes me think of how we will never fully apreciate anything beautifull. At the end of the song the relationship goes sour, and its his fault and he knows it but continues to lie to himself.
