Tell me why this song is about bad relationships because it seems quite the opposite to me...
"I was sick of restrictions, sick of the boundaries, about to close the door, Such a lack of conviction, no real connection" - talking about old relationships, all the problems he had with them, and how he'd given up on finding someone worth while
"Now I don't know what to do with myself do with myself I don't want nobody else I let you in I let you in and you infected me Can't get enough of you I breathed you in and now I'm in too deep Don't think I'm pulling through" - He's found someone, let his guard down and now he's fallen for her and he knows he's too deeply in love to go back to meaningless relationships and he's not gonna pull through, or get over this girl etc etc...
I feel like the way he sings it, it can't be a song about how he's addicted to a chick thats not good for him
I agree completely with ontogenesis. The guy is addicted to this girl and he knows that she's the one for him. He feels addicted to her and kind of helpless but in a good way. She set him free from other problems. I don't see how she could be bad for him with the line "you don't want nobody else." I think most songs are meant to be interpreted by how the listener feels at the time, though, so I'm not saying anyone is wrong =)

Completely agree with ontogenesis. I've been addicted to this song since I first heard it a couple weeks ago. Every time I listened to it, I interpreted it as a love song. About how he's finally found the right girl after going through other bad relationships. I don't get how people think it's about being with the wrong girl.

yea i think its about him in a relationship with a girl and she is all wrong for him she is using him and he cant break away from her even tho he knows she is just hurting him, he has this strong attraction to her and he cant even explain why, least thats what i think

Agreed with every meaning so far. I too was addicted to someone but I managed to break that and am starting to get over the fact that I was addicted to them.
