Low Gravity Lyrics
Basking in low gravity, in a fog.
Wilting in your levity.
Whitewashing avenues of our widening disparities.
We never made a sound just stared at one another.
The heavy clouds that crowd your head, and above,
Satellites that light the dead darkness of your vacuum.
Your body bleeds in infrared.
The shadow and the flame run from another.
The river calm and tame sits above the undercurrents.
Relish in the sound.
The weightless words the heart attracts.
I want it all; no, I want you back; the period a long ellipse.
You can lose the weight but it all comes back.
Wilting in your levity.
Whitewashing avenues of our widening disparities.
We never made a sound just stared at one another.
Satellites that light the dead darkness of your vacuum.
Your body bleeds in infrared.
The river calm and tame sits above the undercurrents.
The weightless words the heart attracts.
I want it all; no, I want you back; the period a long ellipse.
You can lose the weight but it all comes back.

low gravity, high thrills. I'm mezmerized, especially by the second verse.
i love how this song slowly ramps up to the climax in the fourth verse. its my favorite song on the album, right next to crooked legs. the last line in particular is the most memorable, but it strikes me that he put such a cliched term right in the middle of a song rife with figurative and metaphorical language.
The first time I heard this song was live, just walking past the band. I was sucked into what I can only describe as one of the best live performances I've ever seen. My heart was pounding.
