This is by far my favourite off of Seventh Tree. Makes me smile with every listen. However, these are the correct lyrics (as written in the CD pamphlet):

It sounds like a simple case of someone being fascinated by another person. In this case, I'm guessing one girl (Allison) is fascinated with a somewhat gypsy-ish girl. And the parts about "we run away, we run away you and me" could be about wanting to get to spend time with her and getting to know her :]
