A Tell-Tale Penis Lyrics
whoever else i may have been
she'd still be going through this now
but all the quiet hours i require still cant show me how
im barely living
in her halftime show
keeping warped minutes of her wishes and revisions
and somethings knocking around in me like a loose nut
this tell-tale penis kick in the gut
shot down my strut
the walls are beating
it's my reflection in my death
it's the alarm clock riding the horizon
once we spent our afternoons
dancing in our living rooms
now shes giving into her most unlit corners too soon
love is a lifetime's winding twisting tapestry
so reborn now without fears
before you ever met me
you can end things with your boyfriend
i'll quit chasing you around
but how long will the echo of the tell-tale penis sound
its the creak in the floorboards
it's throb is in my head
it's the alarm clock riding the horizon
it's the hand up through the dirt
toward the sky after midnight
burried alive and left for dead
she'd still be going through this now
but all the quiet hours i require still cant show me how
in her halftime show
keeping warped minutes of her wishes and revisions
this tell-tale penis kick in the gut
shot down my strut
it's my reflection in my death
it's the alarm clock riding the horizon
dancing in our living rooms
now shes giving into her most unlit corners too soon
so reborn now without fears
before you ever met me
i'll quit chasing you around
but how long will the echo of the tell-tale penis sound
it's throb is in my head
it's the alarm clock riding the horizon
toward the sky after midnight
burried alive and left for dead

I think it's "...she'd still be going through this now" (pretty sure)
"it's my reflection in my death" (could be wrong)
"but how long will the echo..."
I love how Tim has essentially written a very straight forward broken heart song; feels like he isn't writing about a character or anything. Awesome to hear him give that a shot--he does an amazing job.

it's "it's the alarm clock riding on the horizon" the first time, the second it's harder to tell but i'm pretty sure he sings "it's the alarm clock riding in the horizon."! i won't report it until there's an agreement.
i agree, star slight! it's quite different to, uhm lets say...what he did in 1998 but this man knows his gift.
this is the first song i've heard from the upcoming album and yeah! it's more melancholy, although i'm not sure if that's the right word to describe it. hm, hm. it might just be the exact word for it! and the music is just great. as always. i LOVE the "it's the alarm clock"-part, it's there to be loved. the finish is also very good, far too many songs stops with a fading out.
