Where have all the wicked gone?
Is there no one left to break you down?
Where have all the holy gone?
Is there no one to condemn you?
Where have all the wicked gone?
Is there no one to condemn you?
Where have all the holy gone?
Is there no one left to break you down?
Is there no one left to break you down?
Where have all the holy gone?
Is there no one to condemn you?
Is there no one to condemn you?
Where have all the holy gone?
Is there no one left to break you down?

I can't believe no one has commented on any of this album yet. It's AMAZING. I just joined just so i could comment on this. I've been listening to this since it came out. This song to me, is great. I love the heavy beats at the very beginning, but then follow it up with soft piano is pretty amazing. I love the comparison between the wicked and the holy here. it's so short, so simple, so straight to the point. They aren't different from one another, the holy and the wicked are the same. they both condemn, they both break. but where did they go? what are you doing without them? It's like talking to someone who has found peace in something that isn't good or bad. someone who is just naturally good or happy. where have all the wicked gone? why haven't they broken you and convinced you, that you need them? where are the holy? have they not condemed you and made you feel that you need religion?
brilliant!
Hey Jason.. I was wondering if you'd had a chance to read the story of the prostitute that was rescued from being stoned to death. You can find the story in John chapter 8. You're absolutely right about the way that Lott has captured this incredible story. In its simplicity, the gospel overwhelms us and leaves us speachless...

i think it is because they lost faith themselves.
