Yeah, it is basically. Straying away from God/the Christian religion after having faith in it for so long. It reminds me of how we were learning about how Science is being able to prove something with one of your senses. If you can't, it doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't exist. There are so many things out there pushing him about from his faith.

I beleive this song is someone screaming out to God who has strayed so far he cant even recognize himself anymore. ("I can’t believe this is happening, my faith depleting somewhere buried inside,")
