You Don't Understand Me Lyrics
It seems like a futile endeavor to try to understand others. Think of the infinitesimal varied experiences, nuances, wind directions we meet in every moment, all have an influence on our perceptions (or "point[s] of view"). Sure, "nothing is true" but people have an innate propensity to find truth especially when it comes to relationships to others. Maybe this is because of our solitary uniqueness. I think what the writer is pointing out that we'd all get along better if we didn't think that there are truths or absolutes and give up this notion that we can truly understand each other.
This is an awesome post. Nicely Put. I completely agree.

I broke up with my girlfriend, or more so she broke up with me. It was supposedly a break but now it's pretty much over and done with. Every time we talk I can't understand why she doesn't miss me more and she probably can't understand why I still miss her. Everyone's different and you're never going to understand every little thing the other person is putting into their decisions...and I think you have to just let that be and go on with your life.
doesn't "but in the court of my heart, your ignorance is treason make more sense?"
This song is so symbolic of me and my girlfriends relationship. Dont get me wrong, i love her to death, and she loves me, but sometimes she just doesnt get it...she thinks she knows everything about me, and does all this stupid shit, thinking i dont mind, but to be honest it pisses me off, and i get so frustrated.
i listen to this song and i feel like i can hear my girl talking. she has problems, and we both know i'll never be able to understand her.
its about how you can never fully understand your partner, and how it shouldn't matter but it always does
love the piano on this song
it's brilliant

I agree with Redman85 - I think it is definitely "court of my heart"
And I love love love LOVE this song - I have not seen it live but watched it online from the Reading festival and from T in the Park, it was amazing. I can't wait to get the chance to see it/hear it live...
From the lyrics, I suspect the song is about politics, not a romance relationship. It sounds like a political conv. with the specifics/issues left out.
I get Queen-vibes. Love it!
