I also love this song. Its very relatable.
i love the way the girl sings. it sounds so...so... oldies. its fantastic. the lyrics are very straight forward however.
I think the person regrets breaking up with there partner. they met at a time when they really needed each other, it was fate, they were meant to be, and now there gone there dead again.
and that its not easy being in a relationship it takes work every single day, compromise between the two. plus communication, which they seemed to have lacked at times.
they broke up but both regret ending it, not trying harder. because they cant move on with the way things are.
