As i see this song, she loves him but he doesn't love her.
take a look at the lyrics and notice which parts of the song are sung by the lass and which ones are sung by the fella.

What's with the "farty" love? I don't get it. Other than that, this song is great!
A couple of corrections need to be made to this: "I was not looking for artsy fartsy love" should be "arty farty" && it's "withering heights" not "wuthering". Plus the name of the song is actually 10000 Nights, not 10000 Nights Of Thunder.
@ illyngophobia: Arty farty is an expression, like if you were going to describe someone as being artistic for example you could say that they were arty farty. It's kinda difficult to explain.

you are right about 'arty farty' love, but it is 'Wuthering Heights' with a "u". You know, like the really famous book by Emily Brontë? They are referencing that in the song.

No, I think it is artsy fartsy. People say 'arty farty' as well, I guess, although I've never heard it, but 'artsy fartsy' is the correct expression. Maybe you guys are listening to a demo version of this, because in the version on the cd, you can VERY clearly hear the 's'.
i listened to this song about ten times after i found it last night. its addicting! hahaha.
