the chorus really sounds like anberlin to me. and I love the "tell me do you have pieces of me? 'cause I'm not complete at all..." ...just your (average) break-up.
I like this song a lot. The beginning of it with the keyboards/synth sounds like Motion City Soundtrack.

and i think it means something along the lines of... a forced break-up. the guy is trying to get over the girl but it's not working. the girl may like him back but even if she did, the relationship is gone and won't work again.
