Butterfly Cry

i know that in an interview she says that the significance of her butterfly tattoo is that butterflies have short lives, reminding her that life is to short to hold grudges, be angry, etc. And that u should always let someone know how much u love them because life is so short. so this song may be in reference to the meaning of her tattoo, or the other way around

it really is a pretty song...nice and mellow. I think it's about finally seeing that life is just meant to enjoy and not to worry about anything

i think this song is about almost commiting suicide then not wanting to. i think its also like they forgive. but shes telling someone else to not kill them selve. I have been there, I used to belive there was no light. But I found out, Oh, life is far too short to fight. see?...

i think it's someone telling someone not to worry about stuff, just to let the butterflys (God or angels maybe?) worry about it and enjoy life. that's what i think of when i hear it.

to add on to what both peacefairy and EvCloud9 said. I think maybe she's trying to stop something that she feels that she was started because she starts off the song with Did I hurt you? Did I ever made you bleed inside? Did I kill you? but then she adds I didn't mean to make you hide yourself, find you in you , beautiful. Do not grow the seeds of pain in you, goodbye! as if she is trying to apologize to that person and make everything ok, I think she adds the goodbye to tell that person that she will never hurt them again. Or the goodbye could be taken as, she has done everything that she can and that person she is trying to save is going to die anyway so she might as well say her final goodbyes.

I love this song! Shes talkign about leting your tears out and seting yourself free from what u did and dry your eyes cause the next day will be wonderful!
