Love Is Dead Lyrics
This is the hardest part when you
feel like fading
All that you had has become unreal,
collapsing and aching
All I want
All I want was right here.
Love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
Love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
I know that you think of me when you're
beside her
inside her
It must be so hard for you to
deny it
and hide it
All I want
All I want was right here.
Love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
Love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore...
feel like fading
All that you had has become unreal,
collapsing and aching
All I want was right here.
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
beside her
inside her
It must be so hard for you to
deny it
and hide it
All I want was right here.
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore
Love is dead, love is gone, love don't live here anymore...

in a video interview, she explained that she wrote this about a man she was in love with but he didnt love her back. so at the time, she was heartbroken and wrote this. and after further listen, she found more meaning in the song. as in, she realized it also means the world is aching for love and drenched with hate. i love this song. it's so powerful
This song is seriously beautiful Aside from the 'I know that you think of me when you're beside her inside her It must be so hard for you to deny it and hide it' part, I can relate to this song because I honestly can say I can't feel love towards anyone anymore. It just feels like such a lie.
Hopefuly this moment in your life will pass / passed... Other songs by Kerli are about it, seeing how beautiful the world is, and when your down, next you'll be up and loving again. :)

I really enjoy this song. She has an amazing voice, that reminds me of Bjork. The video is so great also. If you have not viewed it, I suggest searching it. To me, this song is quite obvious, I guess. I suppose someone was in a relationship, and the other person left them for someone else. It is a beautiful song.
In another interveiw, she was talking about all the tattoos she has and one of them was the initial of the guy who broke her heart on her foot, and she did that after he broke her heart to remind her never to make the same mistake. Kerli wrote alot of these songs when she was 17 and really depressed, and she says "youve got to get past the dark to experience the light." I love this song. Its so powerful and true.

Its an awesome song! very straight forward and simple no misgivings.
I can't remember where I read it, but Kerli said that this was her favourite song that she'd written - I can see why. :)
I honestly don't think it's a coincidence that she sounds like Bjork in her "All Is Full Of Love", especially in the chorus when she says "Love don't live here anymore" and near the end of the song when she cries out. In her interview she said that Bjork is her all-time favorite artist for her uniqueness and "balls". Therefore, Kerli's "Love Is Dead" could possibly be her juxtaposition of or rebutal to Bjork's "All Is Full Of Love". Bjork's version is happy-go-lucky and the hope in her voice builds and climaxes towards the end, reaching a new high. Meanwhile Kerli's version is broken-down and the heartache in her voice builds on itself before collasping, reaching a new low.
Just throwing this out there.

This song is just amazing. I love how her voice seems to change toward the end of the song.
I can really relate to this song;; After seeing so many people I love get hurt from relationships, I have learned that love really IS dead. It might as well be, because most of the time you get nothing out of it.
I love this song because it just screams that.
This song is amazing, and totally sounds like a bit of a ode to Bjork, you can hear the influence but Kerli is amazing I recently found her and she is great :D, lotta talent awesome voice
