Up Or Down Lyrics
In the hushed late calls
When your breath blows
Right through the air into
My open bones
I want to be right here
Within without
Into the rush of your reactive doubts
Whether you're up
Whether you're down
Either way looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything moves with a perfect grace
In a hopeless trance
Of your soft gaze
I grow a new found strength
To face this change
I want to be right here
Within without
A lonely look that passed across your face
Whether you're up
Whether you're down
Either way it looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything floats with a perfect grace
You push me to the turning point
Now I can't see anyone
Not anyone, but you
Whether you're up
Whether you're down
Either way it looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything floats with a perfect grace
You push me to the turning point
Now I can't see anyone
Not anyone, but you
When your breath blows
Right through the air into
My open bones
Within without
Into the rush of your reactive doubts
Whether you're down
Either way looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything moves with a perfect grace
Of your soft gaze
I grow a new found strength
To face this change
Within without
A lonely look that passed across your face
Whether you're down
Either way it looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything floats with a perfect grace
You push me to the turning point
Now I can't see anyone
Not anyone, but you
Whether you're down
Either way it looks beautiful right now
The sun in your eyes
The look on your face
Everything floats with a perfect grace
You push me to the turning point
Now I can't see anyone
Not anyone, but you

Everytime i listen to this song i am mesmerized, and when i read the lyrics i get ghostly chills all over. What a poet and wordsmith Ken Andrews is, and an even better musician. I feel like the song is self-explanatory. It is prolly about his first and maybe only true love, and how she made him feel. Whoever she was, i would like to thank her for inspiring one of the greatest songs ive ever heard. Brilliant song, GO BUY THIS ALBUM, "Secrets of the Lost Satellite"
My favorite line ~ "The sun in your eyes/The look on your face"
He's idealistic. Such people generate inspiration from themselves. Not necessarily real but nevertheless great imagery indeed. I kind of automatically look into all of Andrews' lyrics from a space theme viewpoint...
